90801-03042-004 Oil seal 30×42×4.5
Honda part number 91201-GB4-691

90801-19030-005 Oil seal 18.9×30×5
Honda part number 91202-GK4-722

I only post this because I really want to see this list as an accurate reference, I don't know if list is wrong, or I'm wrong.

Have both seals here lying on my tabletop.
The first one in the quote is marked as 30x42x1.5
I'm not familiar with oil seal sizes, but it looks like Sachs or (vendor) used this designation (sometimes): http://www.distrimotors.fr/MOTEUR_SACHS ... _125cc.pdf
(Page 16, partnumber 21)

Edit: Have had a look at work with a magnifier, on the label of the oil seal is 19.8, but on the oil seal itself is 18.9. The vendor put a wrong label on it, but it's the right seal :)
The second one in the quote is marked as 18.9x30x5 I have it here as 19.8x30x5, but I really think this is a write or typing error.

It's really hard when parts are not well documented at some vendors / labels.

I have replaced mine. Those parts number both have same dimensions on their catalogues (madass and honda) that i have.
Not sure if it's typing error.

You listed the Buell Blast wheels? Is that tires? They are the same size tires.

The 1988-2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250 has the same size front tire{100/80-16} , the back is one size larger{130/80-16}.

Another Part for the list:

125cc Chain:
Specs from the Manual: 428 O-ring, 112 links

Replacement Part:
Brand: RK ( http://www.rk-excel.co.jp/ )
Model: 428SO 112

The SO means it is a "O-ring" chain, like the official Madass125 specs.

Maybe you can also try a cheaper model like a DID 428D 112: http://www.didchain.com/standardChains.html
But as mentioned on the DID website:
If your motorcycle came with an Original Equipment O-Ring or X-ring chain, chain, DO NOT replace it with a STANDARD NON-O-RING CHAIN; you must replace it with a sealed chain of equal or greater strength

Re: Compatible Part Replacement

Hey guys,

I'm trying to research compatible parts for my madass 125 and have a quick question for those in the know. It's common knowledge that our motor is a copy of an older Honda design. Does anyone know which model Honda bikes that have used this motor design. This info might help in looking up parts on sights like bikebandit or others. I'm a bit frustrated now cause I've been without my bike for a week and a half, it developed an oil leak thats coming out of the clutch cover. The bike is still under warranty (just purchased in september 2011) but the dealer is saying that madass parts like oil seals are under back order from sachs. I'm starting to stock up on Honda oil seals that will work with the madass, and wonder why good dealers wont do the same thing to keep customers happy. Thanks for the good info so far and thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not sure what Honda engine is exactly the same. But the Honda Dax engine can give you a lot of information (Mine Dax was a manual, but with an automatic clutch)

Ask your dealer to order a Genuine Honda:
Pushrod Seal
Size 12-21-4
Honda part no.91201-035-010

Easy to obtain, cheap, and well built quality!

Most of the dealers are very good mechanics, but overall, they aren't very good with new technology like the internet. The Internet is full of information about 100% compatible parts, that have proven their reliability. Same about this push rod seal: When your dealer wait weeks for an "original Sachs", you still have an inferior quality and have the same problem within some weeks/months.

....Where do they go? Which one of these seals is the countershaft seal? Thanks.

I found this while searching about the petcock leaking issues:

dave wrote:my tc125 has the same gasket,,i used it on my madass petcockk,,,suzuki dealer ship for a 74 tc125,,should work as did mine

From this post: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2114&p=16109&hilit=petcock+suzuki#p16109

I looked up the part he specified for the 1974 TC125 and in the diagram it looks very much the same.

Timing watch hole plug: Honda part number 90084-471-000
Crankcase cover plug: Honda part number 90087-428-000

These are METAL replacements - not like the plastic crap that comes stock! You can reuse your o-rings from the stock plugs if they are still in good shape.
